Rehoming Centres
Good rescue/rehoming centres will want to ensure that a dog that has already had at least one piece of bad luck does not have to endure another. Expect the centre to enquire about your lifestyle and domestic arrangements or even arrange a home visit. All they are trying to do is match a good owner with a suitable pet!
They should be able to give advice on diet, exercise and care for your dog as well as basic training advice. Unfortunately not all centres operate to the same degree of professionalism so it pays to visit several when choosing your next pet. Please note that inclusion in this list does not provide a recommendation of a rehoming centre by PlusBreeds, so please let us know your comments on centres that you visit.
