About PlusBreeds
Plusbreed owners do not choose their dog to make a lifestyle or fashion statement.
We simply own a mixed breed pet because we love dogs and realise that they have so much to give back to us. Help us to raise awareness of the fine qualities of these marvellous, characterful pets by telling us your stories about your dog.
Every year in the UK over 100,000 dogs find themselves in rehoming centres so many of them are plusbreeds. We provide details of rehoming centres in all parts of Britain where suitable owners can be matched to their pet, receiving guidence on its future care.
Our heroes section will initially feature a few famous plusbreeds of recent times with a brief description of their achievements. This will grow to include dogs who perform exceptional feats or overcome adversity to become wonderful pets. People can also be PlusBreed heroes if they have, "Gone beyond the call of duty" to help or care for a plusbreed dog. Let us know of any dog or person you think should be included as a "PlusBreed hero" and for what reason.
Pedigree dogs have long since had their own registration societies. We think plusbreed dogs and their owners should be able to do this too. Consequently we have established the worlds first PlusBreed register where details of your dog are logged for ever. To demonstrate this you also receive a unique certificate of registration.
